Design targets
01 / 04Power

Power that never blinks.

SOLO-1 is designed to draw from independent sources and hand over between them automatically. A sealed cell in the base bridges any gap, and the insulated shell holds temperature on its own if every source is lost.

Utility feedsSeparate grid connections on separate routes.
Facility generationStarts automatically when supply is lost.
Onboard cellSealed in the base. Travels with the unit.
Passive holdThe shell buys time when everything else is down.
Proposed · Onboard cell and supply path
02 / 04Blood circulation

Circulation, carried by the machine.

A closed perfusion circuit takes over the work of the heart. It moves preservation solution through the body's own vessels, conditioning temperature and composition on every pass, with a standby pump ready to take over.

Perfusion pumpPrimary and standby, housed at the foot of the pod.
Arterial lineDelivers conditioned solution into the body.
Venous returnCarries fluid back for filtering and cooling.
Heat exchangerSets the temperature of every pass.
Proposed · Perfusion circuit
03 / 04Brain interface

The brain is watched most closely.

A non-invasive sensor crown sits around the head and reads neural and thermal state continuously. Its data travels on a dedicated channel, separate from the rest of the chamber.

Sensor crownContact array seated around the skull.
Neural activityElectrical signal recorded for the life of the preservation.
Cerebral temperatureRead at the head, not inferred from the chamber.
Isolated linkBrain data on its own channel to operations.

04 / 04Tracking

Every unit, located and accounted for.

Each SOLO-1 carries its own identity and position beacon. From hospital intake through transit to the facility vault, its location, seal state and chamber conditions report continuously to operations.

Position beaconLive location in transit and in the vault.
Shell sensorsTemperature, pressure and structure across the body.
Unit identityTamper-evident, tied to one occupant.
Custody recordEvery handoff and opening, logged permanently.
Proposed · Beacon and shell sensors

BCI

Bunker Computer Interface

BCI is Bunker's own interface between the brain and the system that preserves it. It reads the brain's state through the sensor crown and reports it directly to Bunker operations, for the entire length of every preservation.

ReadsNeural and thermal state, directly at the head.
ReportsOn its own channel, straight to operations.
RemembersA continuous record of the brain, kept with the unit.
